more thoughts on optimizing a web site

I never really completed my discussion on web site optimization, as this is a very complex subject, with much to be considered.

It is possible that businesses could hire someone in a full time position to optimize their web site and work at obtaining high rankings on all the top search engines and directories, but no matter how hard someone worked towards top rankings, there are no guarantees that can be made and the expense involved would be hard to justify for most. Instead, I would recommend that the business be thoroughly researched and the optimization of the site be considered during the developmental stages of the design of the site. This along with search engine submission, regular review of rankings, and continued optimization will provide quality results at a fair and reasonable cost.

This is the process taken with , a web site developed numerous years ago and completely redesigned last year. Through the optimization, submission and reporting process provided by my business, NetClimber Web Design, this site continues to rank high on numerous search engines with customers seeking them from throughout North America.

I will take my time to add various thoughts on this subject each week. If you have anything to add, by all means, I hope to hear from you.
